Secretary Restoration

This is a piece that had seen some neglect and water damage. Fortunately most of the damage was to the original lacquer finish. I was able to remove the original finish, restore the color and re-coat the piece with clear un-tinted lacquer. After a rub out and wax coat the customer was amazed. They were going to sell the piece at a garage sale, now they are going to add it to their living room.

Some of the veneer on the drawer fronts had to be re-laminated.

I left the drop front off for this these pictures because it photographed better. The drop front came out great too.

The top had a little veneer damage, mostly from wear and water.

Notice the deep water stains and mold damage
